The Incredible Hulk Review

It took a while for Marvel to get the Hulk right. It didn't do it in this film. It did in The Avengers though. This film is simply reintroducing the characters. It's not a great movie, but it is a lot better than the 2003 Ang Lee film. Edward Norton replaces Eric Bana but it's not that much of an improvement.

Bruce Banner, a scientist on the run from the U.S. Government must find a cure for the monster he emerges whenever he loses his temper. However, Banner then must fight a soldier whom unleashes himself as a threat stronger than he.

There are amazing effects in The Incredible Hulk. From Hulk himself to the Abomination to the final battle in New York City. The action is great. The script isn't The Departed but remember, it's based on a comic book. William Hurt plays General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and will appear in Captain America: Civil War. One can only wonder what part he will play in it. Tim Roth plays Emil Blonsky and Abomination. He isn't the best supporting character but again, this film is reintroducing us to Hulk. After watching The Avengers, you can't help but wonder what the film would've been like if Mark Ruffalo played the part instead of Edward Norton who supposedly had problems with a lot of crew members during production. It isn't as good a film as Iron Man or Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but The Incredible Hulk does its job and shows us how fun it is to watch two green giants fight. Another fun part of the film is a cameo in the end that I won't spoil.
