Ted 2 Review

When it was released in 2012, Ted the film surprised many with the fact that it made so much money and the fact that it was actually a good film. A sequel was almost immediately announced with director and star Seth MacFarlane, again, writing the script. He has become a household name because of shows such as Family Guy and American Dad which caused people's curiousity for his films to rise. The premise for Ted 2 is simple. However the film is full of MacFarlane's usual humor while upping the amount of toilet humor such as the scene where Mark Wahlberg's character John slips and gets completely covered in semen.

Ted has married Tami Lynn, however, after months of arguing, the two decide to have a child. After crazy hijinks to try to get a sperm donor (because, for those of you who criticize the film, Ted is a f*cking teddy bear) Ted and Tami Lynn have to adopt because of conception problems with Tami Lynn. However this begins a change of events that lead to Ted having his citizenship revoked since he is technically not catagorized as a human. Ted and John go to a lawyer (played by Amanda Seyfred) to try to get his citizenship renounced. Througout the film, Donnie tries to kidnap Ted again. This time to sell him to Hasbro so they can replicate him.

Ted 2 isn't as bad as critics say. It just follows a film that many like and includes different humor from the first. It includes quite a bit of visual humor. Some aspects are funnier than the first film and the film does includes many cameos that are hilarious to see. If you know MacFarlane's brand of humor and don't mind it, then you'll enjoy the film.
